Privacy Policy of this Library
The Privacy Policy Library is subject to the full terms of the Secure Surfing Organization Privacy Policy.
This site does not have “members” or invite registration in the common usage. There is nothing to join and nothing to buy from us.
The only means by which we obtain personal information is when a user submits a privacy policy using our policy submission form.
Information from this form is retained only as long as required to confirm the submission is not malicious or harmful. The only element of the form that is used for verification is the email address, which is destroyed usually without using it at all. The first and last names can be fictional.
As there is nothing a user can “do” nor any transaction of any kind taking place, we do not believe we are bound by any governmental regulations or laws to retain records. The most such records could tell anyone is that a particular email address originated the submission of a particular privacy policy. The risk of retaining email addresses involved merely in the possibility of databases being compromised outweighs any potential value retention of the records could possibly offer.
Users should note that the servers, providers and advertisers who provide services to the Library or who sponsor the Library through advertising almost certainly will record IP addresses and in some jurisdictions are required to maintain log files for a minimum period of time.
